Dear Valued Customers,

This letter is to offer our sincerest “Thank You” for your business and the confidence you have placed in us these last three seasons.  Due to the overall current economic status of the RV industry nationwide, coupled with the fact that Regal Theatres has a buyer for this entire property, we have had to make the difficult decision of closing our sales lot effective Saturday, June 27, 2009. Dutchmen, the parent company of Tundra, Kodiak, Four Winds, Aristocrat and Eco, is a very conservative company, and thankfully so, as they are still very strong and very much in business where so many other manufacturers have had to fold over the last year.  Due to their conservative nature, Dutchmen scaled back on building ‘excess product’ and are currently only building to order.  That puts us out between 12 and 16 weeks before any new units could arrive on our lot. Fortunately (unfortunately??!!) we have all but sold out of product, which leaves us nothing to sell in the interim!!  For you Forest River owners, they are still very much in business as well. 

After much consideration we have decided it is too late in the season to try to find an adequate piece of property in order to have more new units delivered to Alaska.  That being said, it is time to step back, see where the industry is going and decide where to go from there.  Whether you purchased one of our new units or used, we are so happy that you are getting out there enjoying our great state and making memories with your families!  

Remember, for any of you still under Manufacturer’s Warranty – NO WORRIES.  Karen’s RV Service Center is your authorized warranty station in Alaska.  For any of you leaving the state, any Dutchmen dealership should be able to assist you with warranty needs.  Those out of warranty who may need assistance, again may we refer you to Karen’s. They have an excellent reputation in this town and we trust them to take great care of you.
